Do any of the rest of you find that you sort of end up wearing gi pants all the time? Or it is just me?
I figure that I am working out practically every day, if only to do the kicks, blocks and punches, so I figure, 'what's the point in changing?'
Then again, I work from home, so I don't have to worry about people at the office laughing at me.
Anyone else or am I just a geek?

I like the medium weight gi's myself.
My first martial arts instructor used to wear kung fu pants damn near everywhere. To be honest I can't remember a time when he wasn't wearing them.
You need the Chuck Norris Action Jeans.
It's nice to know I'm not the only geek out there!
I hit a lot of thrift shops, so I have about 10 or 12 pairs of gi pants. No need for the extra ventilation.
I figure that they are comfortable and you never know when you're going to need to jump up and kick somebody.

Geek.![]()
I don't usually wear them outside the school unless I'm in transit to or from. I do have six pairs and at least a dozen t-shirts though. I do a "school load" of laundry once a week.
What I have noticed is that almost all of the t-shirts I wear these days are black. Weird.
I don't generally wear them if I'm not planning ANY kind of workout that day, like maybe on a Saturday, but otherwise, I'm usually doing some sort of workout.
Kicks, blocks and punches at home, a trip to the gym to do my stuff there, or going to the school.
God, I need to get a life!

P.S. Oh, and posting on this forum. It's important to be dressed right to get in the mood to post appropriately.

So you're saying that ambiance isn't important?
I think I really AM a geek.
Being a geek is better than being uninteresting though.
Kenpo makes us all interesting.

Wierd. Are all Kenpoist also Sci-Fi geeks??? I know I am. LOL.
I was seriously P.O.'ed when they can'ed Enterprise. Almost as mad as I was when they can'ed Firefly, Space: Above and Beyond, etc... Oh well...there's still BSG and they ain't can'in that one anytime soon.
BTW, I heard that the U.K. has a really cool new version of Dr. Who and that Sci-Fi channel is picking it up to air before BSG. WOOT!
....oh yeah...pants...I prefer middleweight cause I'm hot natured and I sweat like a pig wearing the heavier ones. Nice image eh? But, I only wear them in class during class. When I work out it's just shorts.

I don't think my gi pants would go with my heels I have to wear to work... might get some strange looks.
I only wear my uni in class or in transit... but I have noticed that my regular and work clothes are all becoming monotones; Blacks, Grays, Navys, Browns, and plain Whites.
Oh, and I am a super geek... just ask Celtic_Crippler.
