    Default SE Kenpo Connection

This goes out to all Kenpoist in the South Eastern U.S.!

Is there currently an existing ring, or loop that allows for contact and collaborations among Kenpo schools in the South East outside of existing organizational ties? If there is...can you put me in touch with it?

If not...would you like to start or be a part of one? Of course, these forums afford the perfect opportunity for us to communicate with each other. But what I wish to accomplish (if this does not already exist) is to create a line of communication and collaboration that would allow us to pool resources for things like tournaments and especially getting notables to come to our neck of the woods for seminars.

    Anybody else interested? C'mon y'all!

This sounds like a great idea Celtic... come on y'all; let us know who/where you are!

That's the problem with the Mid-Atlantic, nobody wants us to play, except the sheisters......
Just because you do something one way, does not mean that everyone else does it that way, or that it is even the correct way.

    Seig,

    Can you expand on that?
Im always open to get together with other schools but some head instructors are stand offish.
We all are doing some form of the kenpo that Mr. Parker taught. It would be nice to get together and share idea in person instead of a form where ideas cant be put into motion..
Mr. Parker said to keep your mind open like a parachute. Maybe the head instructors out there should open their minds and worry less about sheisters. Sheisters will expose themselves.

Anyone that wants to get together or workout give me a holler. Im just south of the Mason Dixon. My studio door is open and I will travel.

    Yours in Kenpo,

You've got a great attitude brother, and it's obvious you are a kenpo fanatic like I am.

Cool, I would love to work out with some AKKI folks. Some of the speed drills I've seen from you guys are excellent. Hope you don't mind that I stole some of them! LOL. If I'm ever in your neck of the woods I'll make sure to drop by...just make sure you do the same anytime you're down Atlanta or Macon way!

As a matter of fact, any of you come down I-75 and don't drop in on us will seriously hurt my feelings. I know you wouldn't want to see a grown, bald-headed man cry now whould ya?

Sounds like a good idea for you folks! Did anything come of it?

Alledog: Not "all" of us are doing some form of kenpo that Ed parker taught.
The above is just my opinion.
