I've only seen one person do a Kicking Set before, and that was in class. I tried to find video on it on YouTube to get a feel of how others do it, but turned up nothing. I can't wait to learn this, I think I would be pretty good at it.

Kicking set 2 is a wonderful tool. Not only does it cover basic kicks but it covers different ranges, and heights of targets while in motion. You will get the application of the material when your instructor shares it with you.

    Jason,

Kicking set 2 is hard. I find it full of usefull information, however all the chicken kicks get tough on my older knees.

Glad to hear that you love Kicking Set 2!!! Me too!!

My brown and black belts are really improving their kicks because of this set.

With CONSISTENT work, it will take your kicks to an all new level. The balance, timing, and targets of your kicks are paramount. It is also quite the endurance workout, especially when doing the set several times in a row.

You will hear many tell you that kicking set 2 isn't useful, but that usually shows up in their kicking ability. That might sound harsh, but it is true.

A lot of people like finger set here...I can remember watching someone do that when I was doing TKD and thinking that is so beautiful! I still wish I could make mine look that good!

I dont really know how to upload anything...but I will pester the owner of the dojo to bring her camera and try and tape it at some point. I'm sure someone here will tell me how to share it.

Before I even started Kenpo, I would stand on my bosu ball and do front, sinde and rear kicks working on balance.
It did take a long time to coordinate my back chicken kicks and where I was supposed to land. Once it all clicks, it's so much fun!
