    Default Hello Kenpo Nation

    i just joined today and i already got some good info, im starting my kenpo training this week, after a brief study in the arts of AIKIDO not sure what to expect in the coming days, any of you have some good advice for a padawan learner
    It does not matter where the Martial art comes from. if it can help you defend yourself it is worth learning( Bruce Lee ) May the Force Be With You

    hey how do you get color for your blue belt display? you know for the longest time i thought i was to old to start learning martial arts me being 28 years old but from what i've seen there's a variety of ages.
    It does not matter where the Martial art comes from. if it can help you defend yourself it is worth learning( Bruce Lee ) May the Force Be With You

    By the way, the "belt rank" displays (such as NickName's blue belt) are a fun representation of how many posts you have on Kenpo Talk....they don't have any correlation to your actual belt rank in training.

    Yes indeed, I started my first martial arts training at age 17, then started American Kenpo at 32... it's never too late to start anything! Welcome to the board.

    Oh yeah as far as the belt color graphics, I'm proud to say that I achieved my "orange belt" in Kenpo Talk this morning. (hahaha)

    i did my fisrt moves yesterday basic stuff, i believe i did something called the (star block) with each hand and then done woth both hands. i did the first move for yellow belt, i cant remember the name something grap, right hand grap maybe, is there a site with all the belt requirements? so i can print them out.. Thank you
