    Default Street Tested?

I have seen this written in some of the posts here and on some other Kenpo websites. How was Kenpo street tested?

Well not Kenpo, as I had not studied it a the time, but MA in general kept me from being pavement splat due to an Id10T driver in a parking lot. That could be considered street tested.. litteraly.

When SGM Parker was developing it one of the things he did was take input from law enforcement about the effectiveness of what he taught. (He instructed LE while attending college at Brigham Young.)

There are many Kenpoist that have used their skills in self defense. It works. How do we know? Because they survived.

also there is a clip here called "Street Tested" Check it out and see for yourself.

One strike and that's all she wrote.

    Good to know.

So I guess this clip is sort of implying that Die hard is fiction? We can't all just continue endlessly after a barrage of strikes? I'm not sure I can handle that truth.

One, two, three, maybe even four strikes will do it but you better be able to keep hitting just in case.

I tell my students to just keep hitting till they stop. Prepare for the worse and expect anything to happen.

    Can't argue with that logic!
