Freaking awesome! Would one fly in to Boston and then go to Westiminster, or what? Just curious because I'd like to get my learn on and I may be able to get a ticket out there.
Thanks,
Michael

glad to have made it. it was an excellent camp. it would be great if there was an east coast mini camp every year/other year or something.. because vegas is just to expensive a trip (and including time off from work) to do for myself even once a year.
ill get the picture of the folks that post on here up, sorry you couldnt make it Tracy, that would have been groovy.

We're not AKKI, but we welcome any of our Kenpo brothers and sisters to attend the Kenpo in the Carolinas seminar.
Over the last few years we've had EPAK and Tracy based kenpoist join us for a really good time and learning experience.
Feel free to come if you like (I wouldn't mind picking your brain a bit about AKKI methods anyway) You WILL be welcome.

And you can redeem those C.C. coupons! lol! There is a guy who I used to train with/under who just moved to Atlanta. I'll find out what his plans are and maybe put you in touch.

Wicked! lol! That sounds great. Escrima is it? I think our stick and knife stuff is heavily influenced by FMA.

Sounds very interesting. One thing I like about American Kenpo is that the "vocabulary" is structured more towards "western thought". Is that also true with your art?

Yes, and apologies to Alleydog! To get back on topic...the Open House in Westminster, MD sounds like a helluva good time. Good wishes to all those that are going and I *really* hope next year I can be a bit more mobile and start cruising out to some of these great events.![]()

I'm glad it was a good time. I can't wait to read peoples notes.
I wish I could've went, but my son's soccer team had their semi-final game on Sat. and the finals on Sunday. We won the championship, so it was worth it.I did see Mr. Smith on Friday night at our blackbelt test and talked to him for a few minutes. He said you were going.

Glad you all had a great time! The few times I've met Mr. Jacob I really had a blast. He has that "Kenpo Fire" and the "I don't know what" in French! lol!
But, seriously, he is an awesome instructor. He's spent a ton of time with GM Mills and is a very enthusiastic teacher.

Rich,
Thank you Rich. It was great to have and your ribs there.
Everyone that I spoke to seemed to have a great time and really liked the seminars. I know I did.
Thanks to all who attend and thanks to Mr. Elsasser, Mr. Jacob, Ms. Owen, Ms. Shear, and Mr. Tom Smith for making our open house mini camp an event to remember. Their knowledge, professionalism, dedication, and talent is all truly inspiring. I would also like to thank our instructor, Mr. Mills. It is his constant refining, exploration, development, and testing of AKKI Kenpo that makes it what it is.
Yours in Kenpo,
Mike Guercio
