Sounds like you had a great time at your camp. Did you let everyone know about KenpoTalk while you were there?
so how did yall like it?
i couldnt get up with you Kenpoguy.. sorry bro, i called but got some chick's voicemail guess i wrote the number down wrong or something.. but i got to meet Michael, Mr. Guercio, Tracey, and Les..
met Mr. Ferraccio from NY, and hung out with his students. especially Josh and TC.. got to work with a bunch of other random ppl. most i cant remember their names unfortunatly.. but i cant wait to see them all again someday..
the first day was kind of odd, felt weird (prolly just being in a new place), and i was wishing i knew more, so i could understand more so all this knowledge being thrown at me wasnt going to waste.. but the second and third day.. i felt right at home, and was picking up all sorts of things from the lessons. Sam's Town was a groovy place..
I was a little dissapointed with Mr. Herman's seminar (only the title though), cos i thought it was going to be like groundfighting.. instead of sweeps and all.. not that i mind.. i like sweeps and all. i just thought itd be something else. Mr Herman seems to be a great guy.
fianlly got my Purple Belt, and got to work on some things i'd been trying to work on.. like making my hits penetrate. congrats to everyone that tested, and hope everyone else had as much fun as i did.. Im deff going back, maybe not september, but March for sure if i can.
what was everyone's favorite seminars?

Quality outweighs quantity every time.
i let this guy Josh i worked some of the seminars with, i told him about it. i gotta get up with him in a day or two.
It was an F--ing awesome camp! Got to meet some K.T. members in person and train with them!
Congrats, Brian on your promotion; and Tracy (I'm going to call you "T" from now on), it was great to meet you in person. Hope you post some of those pics!
Oh, Brian, the seminar was introducing your opponent to the ground-not you. If you really want to meet the ground (on pavement, a nasty bar floor, or whatever) get with Mr. Herman and he can show you that Kenpo works horizontally as well as vertically.
This was the third camp I've been to, and the best by far. Lot's of good info.
Lot's o' Irish, English, Scots, and Canadians there. It's truly amazing how Mr. Mills' influence is reaching across the lake.
Damn, sorry I had to miss it.Congrats madeku on your promotion!

Again, another amazing camp, the only bad part is I couldn’t take all the seminars myself. With the help of my students we tag teamed it as usual so once we all get back we can review. The consensus is that all the seminars rocked.
It was nice meet some of the guys from kenpotalk.
All those that tested on Friday did a great job. It was truly inspiring to see such proficiency from the members just blowing out the techniques through the technique line. Every belt test the AKKI practitioners I see just keep getting better. It is a real testament to the refinements Mr. Mills has made and the time he devotes to the instructors teaching at the camps. The instructors who teach at these camps are top shelf and do a wonderful job getting the info out there. Their dedication is reflected in their students’ kenpo.

Yep, it was a GREAT camp! Lots of energy with all the people there! Mr. Guercio, it was great to actually meet you and say "Hi". Madeku, was good to meet you, even though we didn't get a chance to work together. Mr. Grihault, nice to chat with you, I look forward to sharing the information we spoke about.
Everyone else I didn't get the chance to meet, see you in 6 months![]()
This was the third camp I've been to. The best by far!! John Connelly (sp?), Steve Bybee, John Herman, Herb Padigimas, Alan Jacobs, all put on awesome classes/seminars. I got to meet Les, Madeku, and Roadrunner in person; and got to work some ideas on a plethora of body-types.
he was not in the thech line . He was that fat blue belt with glasses and i was the kid with the blue belt.He was working with you in the last simenar.

I just got back from Vegas last night. That place is nuts, especially when you get that many kenpoists together. Yeah, it was nice to meet some new people and catch up with some old friends. Nice to meet Michael, Madeku, Les, Tony from Ireland, Sonja from Scotland and anyone else new I forgot. It was nice to catch up with Mike G., Bernie Drakes, Pete, the Mills family, and many others. A first class camp by a first class organization. The tests rocked, especially the advanced. I will sort through the many pics I have and will try to send them to people since I can't post them here.
I would like to see some of those pics plz.I will sort through the many pics I have and will try to send them to people since I can't post them here.![]()

Post 'em here. It's not too much to be a supporting member!
I think my fav seminar was Mr Elsasser's seminars.. i think i got the most out of those two than i did any other seminar. the man's funny, and laid back. who else says "chill" for a meditating horse durring salute?im going to use that if i ever get to the level of teaching others.
