    Default September 22nd - 24th

Ahh, summer time. Days like this where the sweltering humidy makes me long for drier climates I start getting excited about going out to Vegas. So two questions:

    1. Who all is planning on attending? Maybe we can all just get something to eat one night, get some pictures and put up a gallery here.

    2. To some of the AKKI senior belts that check the forums are there any teasers you can offer as to what we'll be working on this September? Any cool new material coming our way?

I will definately be in attendance. Looks like I'll be there Sept. 21st through the 26th. Remember to get your rooms early, they sell out fast and I snore so you won't want to crash on the floor of my room

I'm still planning on attending. I'm in for dinner with fellow kenpoists at any time during the camp!

Are you bringing the family? If so I recommend AdventureWorks. It is actually pretty fun for kids of any age. Not only is it fun but it is only a little distance from Alladin's Palace which has a PF Changs in it. Yummy!

    What is it?

The wife and I searched long and hard for family activities in Vegas, but didn't have much luck.

    Capt.,
Vegas ahas turned to more of the don't ask don't tell kind of thing. The family route they took in the 90's didn't pay off for them as well. There are a few things though. Excalibur has alot of things going on for that theme. Cool games and such at the Luxor. I've seen all this stuff so I don't get out much at the camp. You just better have your nite owl schedule in tact as that what it'll be. You gunna hafta keep up. As far as meterial there may be some intros into new 2nd brown mass attacks. They definetly won't be what you expect.

AdventureWorks is like a giant arcade. Lots of fun activities. Our group from MD went last march and had a really good time but it is a little expensive. There is also some fun thing at Circus Circus, a giant pink tent that is aparently a theme park if i read the signs correctly last time I was out in Vegas.

Wahoo! Vegas is coming! I'll be there. And Circus Circus does have a theme park called Grand Slam Canyon . . . or it did 12 or 13 years ago. I'm fairly sure it's still there. And Excalibur has some cool stuff going on.

    Anyways, see you all there!

    Hey Everyone,

I am kinda bummed that I will not be able to make it to camp this year. However, I wanted everyone to know that if you are traveling on the road, my home is available for a rest stop or stay over.

    In other words:

    - If you come through Amarillo, you have a place to stay in my home and at least a free meal.

    - This includes coming and/or going to camp.

    - Expect your brain to be picked if you come and stay after camp.

    - It is a FULL day's drive from Amarillo, Texas to Las Vegas, but it can be done( about +/-13 hours).

    - My wife is a great cook!

This is an open invitation to anyone going to the AKKI Camp.

    Let me know,
    Joseph

p.s. If you guys from Wichita are driving, this is a great way to get a head start for your journey.
p.s.s. I know you guys in the Dallas area make the big bucks; so, you will probably be flying, but mi casa es su casa. See you in a couple of weeks when I make a visit!

Nah.... we're not driving. We want to show up FRESH for our beatings.

However, I can now say I WILL be there!! Just got the tickets today.
    I'm very excited.

BUT: If I am ever down Amarillo way........I just may take you up on the cooking bit.
