Hi, could somebody give me a link on the "Perfect Weapon" DVD on the net, where I can buy it?

Last I knew it was not out on DVD. Something to do with the director or producer not allowing it to be transfered to DVD. I'm sure others here on the board have a better explination.

Ronin is correct, this has never been released on DVD. The VHS has been out of print for several years, and is getting hard to find. They occasionally crop up on ebay, and I just took a quick look online. Amazon has several used copies for sale through their marketplace. Prices range from around $15 on up. There is one unused tape for sale for about $90, if anyone is really intent on owning a pristine version.

Well, it is no longer available there, but I did get a DVD of Perfect Weapon on this site once upon a time.

They do have what is probably the most rare of movies featuring Ed Parker, but I'm not telling what it is Have a little scavenger hunt

I have two versions of the movie. One video taped from TV. The TV version has scenes edited out of the Big Screen version.

Hey do you know who I just learned played Mr. Speakman's love interest in that movie? Mariska Hargitay, who plays Detective Benson on Law and Order SVU. I thought that was pretty cool because I love SVU (even though she only had like three lines in the entire movie, which was only shown on the tv version like you mentioned).

I was on piratebay the other day trying to find episodes of "Human Weapon"+Kenpo, while on there I found a torrent file to download "Perfect Weapon".

It's a shame you can't buy the DVD and can only buy old used copies on VHS. Downloading it off of there is very tempting to get my copy on to DVD since I don't know how to transfer my old video copy to that format.

i have a copy on DVD purchase on Amazon...but after getting this information and closer examination, it is a bootleg copy.

A good copy, but bootleg anyway, so good luck with the search!

The kenpo is fun. The acting of the main character is uninspiring, but the rest is okay. I mostly fast-forward to the fight scenes.

The 5 million swords (five swords on steroids) was kinda fun. It just went on and on.

I spoke to Mr. Speakman about this when he came to San Antonio a few months ago. The movie has not been released on DVD. His response to the question of when was, "Everything in Hollywood costs money".

He further went on to explain that he intends to make another movie after this Summer's camp. The money made from that movie will go towards releasing Perfect Weapon on DVD. I think he'll do fairly well on residual movie sales once that happens.

For DVD's of the movie that are currently out there, they aren't legitimate.

That's good to know, I have been waiting for a long time to buy it on dvd. My old VHS copy is starting to REALLY show, and plus, I don't want to keep a VCR around just to watch certain movies.

I hope he is able to get it accomplished. I think a lot of people would buy it.

I recently managed to get a DVD copy, it's a transfer from a VHS but that's all good. It was also the first time I saw the movie in full. Absolutely loved it, was jumping out of my seat everytime I saw a technique I recognized.
