    Default Pro-Shop

Do you, as our members, feel that this site could benefit, use or need a pro-shop? A place to sell items through either direct sales or auction.

I would be all for it. This could definitely help everyone out. Kenpoist or not.

    I voted yes.

But, I'd be worried about spam. I don't like the idea of auctions here on this site, but a I've got this for sale posting may not be a horrible idea.

I think the posts should automatically be deleted after two weeks or thirty days or something.

In the end, I think it would get very little traffic.

And, would Bob be on the hook for anything financially, because the site would be acting as a broker?

Nope. We'd simply be the listing location. All transactions would be between individuals.

I'm game for a classified ad type forum, and I like the weeding of dead ads part. I'm not too worried about spam, as we'd limit ads to registered members. Might be some other restrictions we can add too, like "must have 50 posts" to be able to post an ad or something.

I like that or a small fee through paypal such as $2.00 to place an ad.

There are add-ins I could put in to do things like auctions, etc, but lets be honest. Ebay's got a huge lead, and has payment systems in place.

I like the idea of a buy/sell/trade forum. Some people just post links to there ebay auction. Some offer it first to the community before putting it on ebay.

Allowing members to trade/sell merchandise could be useful as long as nobody feels they got ripped off...then it could get ugly.

We are all adults here and all being part of the big Kenpo Family should be able to work things out amicably, if not at each year's Meet N Greet they could duke it out for our amusement.
