    Default Hello from Idaho

Hello everyone, My name is Scott and I'm excited that I found this site. I have been trying to learn more about kenpo and have found that there alot of different opinions out there. I started getting intrest watching my father practice at home. I believe he was a student of Rod Martin in the bay area of California and went on to learn from John Sepulveda where he received his black belt tested by Ed Parker. Several years later I finally joined and am really enjoying it. I am a blue belt at American Karate in Caldwell Idaho owned by Mike Winchester. I don't know alot about the lineage of my school yet but i'm starting to learn. I'm going to have lots of questions and am looking forward to getting know everyone. Thanks for your time.

    Hey there, Scott!

    Welcome to KT!

Glad that you found your way here!

Looks like dad had some great Instructors from the Tatum lineage... here's Mr. Sepulvedas TREE

Not sure where Mr. Winchester falls... but, from the schools name... I'd say maybe Tracy brothers?

There are alot of good Kenpo schools in Idaho, Mr. Sepulveda actually retired from the Bay Area to the Boise area a few years ago.
