    Default Hello fellow kenpoists

Hello fellow kenpoists, I’m Paul Prijatel and I hold a black belt in American Kenpo of which I earned many years ago in the Southern Colorado area. I truly enjoy the art and practice it mentally as well as physically. It is a large part of me and has been for several years….even when I took a break. Years ago, as an instructor, I would have my uniform on five or six days a week. Today I train four or five times a week in uniform….the same one! My training still consists of open hand forms, techniques, weapons forms, and occasional sparring….I just dig the art!

Probably the funniest past kenpo moment for me was doing techniques, while driving my car, and accidentally cracking the windshield with a rams head punch. I then started using visualization for doing techniques and forms while driving.

Someone once mentioned to me that it appeared MA’s must be paranoid individuals for wanting to do martial arts…my reply was that we like being aware of our surroundings. What are your reasons?

Thanks to Mr. Hubbard and others for creating this site…it’s very informative and I look forward to exploring the possibilities.

Welcome to the Site Paul. We will be looking forward to your posts. Stay away from windshields. What knid of story did you give the insurance people? That must have been creative.

Greetings and salutations. I think many of us have embarrassing stories where we've been "busted" practicing in inappropriate moments. LOL

WELCOME to KenpoTalk Paul!!! It's good to have you. Please, contribute and participate all you can....and enjoy yourself.

That is funny about your windshield. I tend to practice timing patterns on my steering wheel. It drives my wife insane. (and that's my hobby)

    see you around the forums.

Wow, that windshield thing sounds like something I would do... I'll heed that as a warning to keep control of my "spontaneous" training.
