    Default Greetings from Los Angeles

    Greetings and Salutations!

I hopped over from MartialTalk. My name is Stephen. I have been out of training for a bit and decided to get back into the MA this year (Jan 2007). After visiting other dojos and playing with people from different styles I chose Kenpo mainly for the instructor (Bryan Hawkins). Thanks to everyone who emailed me and gave me info on Kenpo instructors here in Los Angeles.
I'm very fascinated with how the human body moves (dance, martial arts, sports). I love to dance (Ballroom, Hip Hop, Jazz). Dancing is a fun way to get to know your own body. Lately I have been dancing less (my dance partner went to law school in another state) and training more. I also study as many healing arts that I can get my hands on. The human body's ability to heal amazes me. There are so many techniques to relax the muscles and reduce pain and discomfort within seconds. Very cool stuff to learn.

If I could travel around the world I would definitely want to learn and experience their martial art system, healing arts, and of course their food (especially their desserts...pats stomach).

oops I forgot to add the smiliey face....

Glad to have you. I just met your instructor a couple of months ago.

    Nice guy.

He put on a kick butt seminar, so keep us informed on what you're doing.
