    Default Greetings from Plantation, Florida

    Just wanted to say hello.

I am interested in learning more about Kenpo, specifically Mr. Ed Parkers American Kenpo.

I have no martial arts experience and I am looking for a Kenpo school in the Plantation, Florida area.

If anyone knows of one that they would recommend that would be great.

    Hello and welcome.

You could try someone in Mr. Wedlakes lineage. Take a look at this link:

Hey, Isn't Martin Seck from Plantation? His ID here is Katsudo_Karate. His postings here seem to indicate he is quite legitimate when it comes to American Kenpo.

If he is in that town ... You have hit pay-dirt.

Welcome! Glad you decided to join us!

I'm not sure how up to date this link is, but here is a site that Martin Seck has up. Good luck in your search.

Thank you for welcoming me to the group.

Actually I sent Mr. Seck an email to see if in fact he was teaching in Plantation.

Thank you for the links. I will check them all out.

    Martin is "The Man!"

I've had the pleasure of training with him on a couple of occasions and he really knows his stuff. Others here will vouch for him as well.

You could do a heck-of-a-lot worse finding a qualified instructor! I'm not sure if he's teaching right now, but if given the opportunity to work with him you could gain a lot.
