    Default I'm new here...

    Just wanted to introduce myself.

I've been doing kenpo for about 3 years, and I am a Blue belt. I probably should be further, but I moved across the country and had a baby, so, ya know how that goes.

    Hi Brian,
    Welcome to Kenpo Talk.
The only easy thing about Kenpo training is... we don't have to worry about how far along or what rank we are, thats our instructors job. Just practice, work hard and don't try to do everything, for example next time let your wife have the baby!!
What have I learned from this???

Thumbs up Re: I'm new here...

Howdy from Texas! Welcome to KenpoTalk & I hope you enjoy the boards. As you'll see, we have users of all ranks from various Kenpo lineages, but we all something in common - the love of the Art.

Best Wishes on your Kenpo journey,

good to have ya here!!! Welcome!
I look forward to reading your posts.

Nothing wrong with taking your time coming up through the ranks. In fact, I personally think it's great to let things "Percolate" (sp???) while you develop... just don't go slack in your training and you'll do great.
