    Default Hello Kenpoist

    Hi,

I want to thank my instructor for telling me about this site. Also, I want to thank the founders for giving us this opportunity.

I am a 32 yr old male. My instructor and I are part of the Lamkin family tree of students (founders of the Elite Fighters system based in Louisville, Ky.). I have been training American Kenpo for about 14-15 months. I am currently working on my purple belt, I have learned 17 out of the 24 techniques and Coordination Set, plus most of the Finger Set and Long Form 1. So hopefully it wont be long until I test (crosses fingers).

I look forward to reading your advice and ideas. Good luck on reaching your goals!

    Hi!

Welcome to Kenpotalk! Feel free to ask questions and to post in current threads. There are lots of old threads you can look through and find things to talk about.

Looking forward to hearing your input.

I also live and work in Maysville. If you are the same "HumbleKenpoist" on the Elite-Fighters site, then you have already been in contact with my instructor. What a small world...lol. Yahoo IM @ tiger_n2_dragon

Yes I am the same HumbleKenpoist on Kevin and Eric's website.I haven't talked with Ryan for awhile. The last I heard was the group was trying to get a training place at Sherry's Dance Studio on the AA.Anything happen with that?
I haven't been concentrating on training much because this past Labor Day I got a case of gout, then when that cleared up I was still having problems with my Archilles tendon but my foot is feeling better although I'm not sure I can move as well as I did before all this happened.
Anyway, hope we can work something out and get together for training.
