    Default First Lesson...Again

Well I got that first lesson this afternoon. After two years, I think it went pretty well. My knees hurt and so does my back but, I can now do Short 1, Long 1 & Short 2 again. Stances need a little work and so do the transitions but, it is still all there. All in all, not bad for 30 minutes. Of course, I can't wait to see if I can get out of bed in the morning.

Well I never got the chance to say howdy on the meet and greet thread so first off Howdy.

Congrats on getting back into training the first step is always the hardest. Short 1, Long 1, and short 2 all in a 30 min session thatís pretty good you pasted me and I have been at it over a year. But short 2 is the next thing I will be learning then long 2. Talking about a hard time getting out of bed Iím with you on that. I have been limping around the house the last few days. I donít know if itís from training or too much time sitting in front of the X box.

Once the stuff gets into long-term memory, you have it forever.

What kata were you up to when you left?

(And it's only been two years -- that's practically a blink.)

Let's see. Stored in my memory banks...somewhere.. are Short 1, Long 1, Short 2, Long 2, Short 3, Long 3, Book Set, Staff Set, Chun Ji (which I hate), Siu Lim Tao (which I love), Yang-style Short form, and a couple others that I picked up along the way.
