Ok so I have finally stoped lurking from the shadows. I do post sometimes on Martial Talk but I really should post more here since I just am totally into Kenpo. I am from Massachusetts and I study under Rich Ronan (5th deg) and sometimes I train with Lenny Sprauge (6th deg). I am currently a 2nd deg brown and I now know why they call it the desert of brown. Hopefully I will test for 1st deg brown over the summer.
I am 37 years old and I can certainly appreciate what martial arts has done for me. I am in the best shape of my life and since I started I have lost 25lbs. I am have more focus and I can handle stress much better. I am more aware of who I am as a person. I have two sons that are involed in Kenpo and one daughter that is not. My daughter is a competitive swimmer and because of her training commitment she is unable to commit to the Martial Arts.
Well enough of being long winded. Its great to be out of the shadows and I look forward to getting to know all of you.
