    Default Health & fitness

Why do we have a health & fitness section when you can't post in it?

This is the closest thing I think we have, http://www.kenpotalk.com/forum/87-health-fitness that or you could ask Bob if you could have created in the hosted forums area that you could run.

I just thought about the forum as a way to trade ideas on what people do as far as a routine. Like, running, swimming, biking, hiking, lifting and what not.

I asked a while back about setting one up and was told we didn't need it, so I setup a reference only spot to store any good H&F articles I had sent in or people wrote elsewhere on KT.

I personally would like one myself. I read a lot of bodybuilding forums when I am on a computer and it would be cool I think to have some kenpoist ideas or perspectives.

Before creating such a forum, would we have anyone interested in moderating it? If it slows down, we'd need someone to kick it back up. A lot of ideas are great for forums, but unless there's a dedicated Mod, it can easily die out.

I am not currently "assigned" any sections, I would be more then happy to volunteer to moderate if the section is created

So tell us how both of you stay in shape.... That is since we're talking about health & fitness.

Sitting in front of the pc 18hrs. a day can't be a good thing.

The cyeber exercise, and with cut and paste skills it takes nothing to rattle through a hundred situps.

    Isometrics.

When you're glued to the PC, you almost have to do isometrics or things start to atrophy.

I get a lot of excercise banging on my desk in frustration (kinda like working a heavy bag) and running and hiding from management (kinda like sprinting).

Here's one... quit your job. Then everybody and their brother will have something they'll "need" you to do, since "Oh, you're not doing anything else..."

But it gives me as much time for Kenpo and KT as possible.
I'd love a Health & Fitness thread. I think it would be good.

I know you have a managers position. I remember reading it before. I was more directing it towards bob.
