I'm interested in reading peoples thoughts on Kimono Grab, Crash of the Eagles, Dancer, Opponents at Sides, and Dance of Death. These are just a few of my suggestions.

Looks like we just got February, March, April, May & Junes techniques laid out. Thanks for suggesting them.

    Something maybe I recognize?

I'm willing to bet Kimono Grab, Crash of the Eagles, Dancer and Dance of Death are different than the ones in my system too!

Our system is an offshoot of Tracy kenpo. Many of the beginning techniques are the same, or similar but once into the upper belt ranks, there is little comparison, even with techniques that have the same name.

Rob, is there any chance of you showing a video demonstrating, perhaps, the differences or similarities........or just showing us a tracy technique?
Maybe one of the Tracy seniors have a video on their website we can link to.

Do any of the Tracy stylists still want to discuss a new technique or two each month?

Then lets compile a list of techniques to discuss each month. Any suggetsions? Did everyone want one or two techniques each month, Do we want to rip apart a form each month as well?

    How about Sowing the Seeds?

For me, I like "walking through" the opponent's leg at the end rather than just bending my knee into his to buckle it. It is sort of a "half-wheel/lift-kick" hybrid.

Jim would call it one of those butt ugly kenpo kicks. It certainly adds power to the technique and changes the dynamic of the ending.

Lets compile a list so that on the first of the month I can unroll th etechniques each month, just like I do in the Technique of the Month Forum.

So everybody just post what techniques they want to cover each month in this thread.

Well, I pretty much like them all, so, I'm up for whatever.

The Tracy organization is very protective of their material, that is why we do not have the techniques broken down like we have all the EPAK techniques. We would need written permission from the Tracy organization to post videos of the Tracy techniques.

All of them? What about the forms/techs that they share in common with EPAK?
Additionally, is it that big a problem if someone were to post them demoing a technique? Not teaching it, mind you, just a demo?
