Default Tracy's Kenpo Reunion of the Masters

The event has been posted up in the Events section. Currently, there are about 15 of the Tracy's seniors scheduled to attend and work is underway to try and have all 3 of the Tracy Brothers present.

I will try and post updates to the seminar as well as a curriculum/list of instructors as it becomes available.

Just an update regarding the event. The number needed to pre register by January 31st was not met. Therefore a decision will be made shortly for an alternate plan.

"Also If any of you are coming to the Senior Seminar in San Jose this weekend you will be able to meet Professor John Sepulveda. Professor Sepulveda is a former Tracy black belt who became a personal student of Ed Parker and a first generation Parker Black Belt.

Professor Sepulveda is a close friend of Jeff Speakman and has done some of the choreography for the fight scenes in Speakman's movies. It should be interesting to hear what Professor Sepulveda has to say."

Man, I would love to go to that. If I weren't feeling sickly today, I would drop everything and go. Just to see Ray Arquilla. If any of you go, tell him Amy, the baby blue belt, said hello. (He promoted me to blue belt and was most annoyed when I came up with a baby blue one.)

Be sure to post about how it is.

If I could, I sooo would. If only to see Ray again. He was my instructor over 20 years ago. And, as I understand it, he hasn't changed a bit!

Be sure to post about it and make me sorry I missed it.

I attended the Tracy Seniors Seminar this pasted weekend. It was a great time and a once in a life time opprotunty to meet and learn from many of the early Tracy Kenpo Seniors. Many thanks to Master Avery, Master Simmons, Master Greene, Master Hanna, Master Munk, Grand Master Arquilla, Master Sepolveda, and Master Summner.

Tell me about Master Arquilla's seminar. He used to be my instructor and I haven't seen him in forever.

    What did he go over?

Master Munk shared his concept of blending technique like Monkey elbow and crossing talon and there apllication from his experience.

Grand Master Arguilla shared information on some of the thing he learned from GGM Mitose, and what we need to do during each time we practice. Have the right mindset before you start, fellowed my proper breathing, floowed by proper technique, followed by perfect practice. In addition he taught a two man set.
