The IKCA videos have explanations and show contact.
Mr. Speakman's 5.0 shows contact as well as Mr. Tatums. As a matter of fact, I'm NOT familiar with any that DON'T show contact.

I have a question: I stumbled across the qick reference video with an opponent (#2) that I ordered probably 10 years ago. Anyway, I've watched it a few times and I'm wondering how different the non reference videos are.
My problem with the video is that there is no contact and the techniques are done very slow. Because there is no contact the "target" is not easily identifyable if that makes any sense. For example, sometimes a kick wich I assume is to the opponents knee is a few feet away. I'm assuming that it's because it's a reference video and people watching it are supposed to know where to strike?
Is there contact in the other videos? I'm considering ordering a few but want to make sure there's contact, explanations, etc.
Also, the one I have was copyright 1987, are there newer ones? Lastly, I dont know if anyone here is tight with the powers that be but a clip or two from the actual video(s) would be great. I havent been able to find any on the Tracy site.
THANKS

Yes, that's why I'm wondering about the Tracy videos. All others I've seen have contact. Wondering if perhaps it's because it was the quick reference video and not a technoique video.
actually, on Tracy's website they list a whole bunch of videos. I am not familiar with most of them, but I did view some old ones made in around 1980 or so. they were reference videos and were done fairly slowly, but they all had an uke involved.
It is my understanding that all the videos were to be refilmed recently. I don't know if that has been done, or if it is still in the works, or whatever.
You might try sending an email to Mr. Tracy directly, and asking for some more information.

The Tracy's teaching series have contact, the quick reference video is actually only there to jog your memory on techniques you have already learned.
Quality outweighs quantity every time.
