    Default Al Tracy Seminar

Mr. Tracy will be putting on a series of seminars near the middle of September to mid-October in Shreveport, Dallas, and Plano. I will post more details as I get them.

    Hi Dave,

I sure would like to see GM Al at a seminar in San Jose if it is to here. I don't see it happening on the west coast though. He has a much larger following in other area's. But if they pitch it good it could work out.

But if they do have it here, just once in the Year. It could be really good for other's to see him.

If you could muster some of the group over to this board it would spread the word. I don't think others are as inclined as I, to go to other boards and fight the good fight (sort of).

This board has a bigger following then Ted's board. More eyes.
Usually the ayes have it over the nayes. I prefer the Eyes and nose but then I am different. LOL

    Regards, Gary

Gary, do you have the Tracy Web Site address? Mr. Tracy just recently did a number of seminars in California. He is in the midwest this month.

As for me, I am in Louisiana, so getting him here would not help your cause too much...!

Hi, I have recently been to the site I see some of it has changed.

Is it true that Will is the one who keeps the site up for GM Al?

Is there a way we can get more people over here to discuss things?
You are in LA? How did you fair with the Hurricanes?

No. Al Tracy has been doing the website since February of 1999.

Don't know. People typically gravitate towards good content, until it becomes otherwise.

The devastation here is unfathomable. I have been in it every day for a few weeks now, doing environmental assessments, and each day, it floors me how bad it is. I did a school the other day where the storm surge hit it so hard the furniture in every room was moved to the front walls. The water line was 6', the ambient water line about 4'. Mud and silt, marsh grass, and snakes all over the school. It was tough to see all the pictures of the kids still on the walls, and all the decorations that teachers painstakingly gather and hang over the years still up on the walls, with such devastation on the floors.

The people are remarkably positive, those that have come back. There are communities still without power in central-south Louisiana. Pecan Island has a school. Everything else is gone.

    Hi Dave,
Took some time off and visited some relatives, thanks for the get back.

I was talking to a guy in Texas city, Texas. He was on the road for over 9 hours just going 63 miles to a relatives. He said for the most part people were civil, kids playing and folks talking and just trying to cope. He was amazed at how well everyone was handling the idea that they may return to nothing or???? They were lucky the storm missed them.

Wilma sure Kicked sum hinney. I was reading on another thread where the folks in Florida were doing better then what happened in NO but still hurting. LA got the first attack and prepared the rest for the worst. I think NO was not an aberration, it's generally the way things go in times of disaster, but then you never know till it happens. Some folks are ready and some arn't. That was much more brutal and they are finding out the mistakes that made that all happen, hope it helps in the future for others.

So, Al Tracy is taking care of his own board and has since 99, I think it is very informative, we all agree to disagree or to agree, but he still delivers the information as he feels it should be done, good for him...
Flame wars are really not what I like, but then if someone wants to start one I will not back off, I believe it is everyones right to speak their mind, just keep it civil...
    Glad you are doing OK.

    Regards, Gary

What was the name of that Randy Travis song again? Ah yes, Digging up Bones.

Do you have a point with your oh so useful posts, or are off to an early head start for the Assistant Senior Specialist award?
