The nominations have closed and now it is time for our members to vote for the member of the year.

I voted this year....but a suggestion I might have for next year is to not make staff members eligible.

Kind of like having a drawing for your business and letting the employees win.

We let our membership choose who they nominated, Celtic Crippler and Brother John have done a lot to keep thi site going this year and deserve to be in the list, as do the other 3 nominees.

I understand Rob, I was just offering something I thought could help generate more activity from others. It would be like an instructor running a martial arts school winning student of the month in my eyes. "employees" or "staff" are supposed to contribute. I'm not trying to ruffle feathers.

It's a valid point. We're always tweaking things to make them better and will consider that next year. (big year 08 is gonna be)

Everyone is eliible to vote for one of the 5 people listed in the poll. The 5 people lsted were the top 5 nominess, there was no set criteria as why people were nominated.

I had a very tough time choosing. Maybe that's why more people haven't voted. I have had almost everyone on that list talk with me in private and answer my questions and I felt very greatful for all the help I have recieved here.

So THANK YOU to everyone, and even if you don't "win" know that you still are touching live's and making the kenpo world a little bit better.

(I've had some personal difficulties the last few months which has kept me from being here as much.)

Good for you Bob. I also believe moderators should not be a part of the contest.

I am also curious to why a "Pleasing personality" contest is even necessary.

What does it have to contribute to Kenpo and the learning of Kenpo?
