New: Infraction System

We have been testing a system over the last few months for tracking issues and rules violations. Testing has been a challenge due to the lack of problem posts here. Y'all are too nice.

We have completed our tests and have now fully implimented the system. When a post is reported, our staff will discuss it and a senior staffer will use the system to issue warnings and infraction points as needed.

Warnings are just that, a warning.

Infraction points are used to 'weigh' various rules or standard violations and help us to ensure that we are fair and accurate when moderating. Each violation receives a varying amount of points. When you accumulate enough points, your account is suspended until the points expire.

Points come in 2 types, temporary and permanent. Earn enough permanent points and you will have effectively banned yourself from the site.

Points and warnings are issued for rude posts, rules violations, spamming, or otherwise unacceptable behavior.

We anticipate minimal use on KenpoTalk as we've had minimal problems over the past few years.
