What date did this forum actually open? Also how close to completion is it?

vBulletin lease purchased 2/12/05
Forum setup that evening, replacing earlier beta test (all old data lost)
The link went public a little sooner than planned, so we're kinda rushing to finish the setup of the forum now.
The full site is planned to be open March 1st. Right now, the forums are fully functional. Whats left to do is:
- Install smilies
- Install default avatars
- Setup rank system
- Flesh out forum descriptions
- Install sponsor banners.
- Add some customizations here n there.

We registered the domain back in August 04, and have been quietly discussing various ideas with a small group of people.
We started the initial setup and testing for the forums on the 10th.
Right now, we've been open maybe a day or so, and are already close to 40 members. Definately off to a good start. Things will run slow for a bit, but I think gradually pickl up speed.![]()

Bob,
I had occasion to do a Google search and found a link to your site. Much to my surprise it took me to a question raised on 11/10/2006. The question was about my wrestling "career" as the "CHINESE BANDIT." (I didn’t think anyone knew about that) My oldest son, Kevin, was three years old at the time. He is now a grandfather... that’s how long ago this occurred. I always try to respond quickly...no matter how long it takes, so here are the facts:
I thought it would be fun to incorporate some Kenpo into the sport and bring some realism into the ring. Since I would be fighting under a mask I felt it would not hurt my reputation in business or the martial arts. The other fighters loved the idea and we prepared for the upcoming matches. The myth is more fun than the facts. My wife, at the time made it clear...I could perform in the ring or stay married. Tough choice; but that was the end of the Chinese Bandit. My other children and their children are grateful for the choice.
Cordially,
Mills Crenshaw
