Default 2011 Member of the Year - VOTE NOW!

We haven't done awards in a while, and I wanted to open the floor for nominations for Member of the Year.

Nominate the members you think deserve it.
    http://www.kenpotalk.com/forum/recom...php?award_id=2

(If you get an error, feel free to also post the nomination here. The software's still finicky sometimes.)

I'll accept nominations until the 4th with voting to run the 5th-15th.

    Thank you everyone

Now when you say Member of the Year, what exactly does that include or exclude?
I know you have Moderators, and different levels of contributors, and such... is this award for anyone who posts?

People who have driven the conversations, forced information, or made things spin here for me in the last year....
off the top of my head.......

Doc Chapel...... always has an answer, but not just an answer of yes or no, but an answer of yes or no, why its yes or no, who initially made it yes or no, and who has made changes to the yes or no over time.... among other things...

Raz..aka attackxgym... as much as I dislike his opinion on the ideal phase, and as much as I think he really did not, does not, and wont get that.. he has driven alot of conversation, debate, and conversations since his arrival.

there are alot of next tier people who contribute alot, but I think they just have not been as active as the two above, and while I appreciate what they do contribute, the two above, in vastly different ways, have opened up alot of conversations, or forced light to be shed on alot of different topics.

Second Atacx Gym. Ras always generates discussion and has a great attitude, even when he's getting hammered.

I nominate myself, since I am totally awesome!
Like one of my students said "He also has the black belt in awesomeness!" (*)

Also: I look great and my wife says I smell good. That's something.

And I am also totally modest. I think that's a pretty neat combination.

(*) The student in question was pretty hard to understand. I think that's what he said.Or maybe something about the weather. In any case, I am pretty sure that this was the idea behind his words.

You forgot the best part. Whoever delivers the boot gets to wear the Viking helmet.

I made the nomination and got the expected error. Just in case it didn't go through:

    Member Nominated: Bob Hubbard

Reason: For continuing to provide a tremendous resource for the online Kenpo community where both individual liberty and technical substance are consistently present.

According to my sources, I might have been slightly intoxicated when I wrote this

I'm on there twice. Does that mean I'm double good, or half good?

It means I shouldn't edit a poll before I've had at least 120mg caffeine.

Removed name. Anyone votes for Deleted, I'll hard code them as a Pink Belt for the year.
