Default Why we organized the lineages section this way.

Why we organized the lineages section this way.
With one exception, the group headings listed are the individuals that are the people that were recognized as the highest ranked individuals in American Kenpo at the time of the death of the founder, Ed Parker, Sr. We have also listed Mike Pick, Sr. While Mr. Pick was not at the time recognized by the AKSC as a seventh degree black belt, we at KT.com do not believe that he, at any time, had another instructor and are therefore including him. There are several senior ranked black belts that are considered “1st generation” black belts under Mr. Parker that reverted to another instructor upon his death. At some point, they may garner their own area, but at this point in time, look under one of the previous sevenths.
