Default Mr. Edmund Keoloha Parker Sr's Birthday

Saturday March 19th, is Mr. Parker's Birthday. Please post any personal stories and/or comments here. I think it's important to share this information so future generations of Kenpoists can get a glimpse of what our founder was like.

Oops! Sorry--I didn't know this was already here when I started my Mr. Parker's B-Day thread under "Kenpo News"; hopefully one of the nice Admins or Mods will move my post over here (pretty please, with sugar on top?)

Thanks for starting this thread, Mr. Lear. As Kenposatori put it, "left over right." Oss!

I got to meet SGM Parker twice at the Canadian Internationals, and both times were inspiring. He will be deeply missed by many for a very long, long time.
    Quality outweighs quantity every time.

Ed Parker humbly spoke about Kenpo to me and my father at great length at the Canadian Internationals back in 1989.

I was fortunate to do a demo for him that night in the evening show. What an impact he has had on Kenpoists and martial artists around the globe.
