    Default The Journey

Who all has a copy of The Journey, and how many signatures do you have in your copy?

I have a copy with 19 signatures from honorees and one signature from Gil Hibben.

I don't imagine I'll ever get a signature from Elvis, but I'll definately try the next time I'm abducted by space aliens.

I feel so lowly with only my one signature...
See, all I've gotta do is get loose like I'm fluid, dude, Rollin' up my sleeves on my gi and get into it. You and who, him and them? Line up in a single file. One on one, all for one...end up in a bigger pile. The ambiance of Martial Arts is constant, Nunchucks chuckin' when I step in the mosh pit. Wing Chun dummy getting splintered apart, Escrima sticks whippin' and I'm chipping the bark. What are you? A pink belt? I'll give you a head start. Kumite killin', with the spirit of Ed Parker.

I am getting a copy at Larry Tatum's Las Vegas Camp in June. I'll ask Larry and Frank to sign it for me.

and me, being the responsible, young adult that I am, forgot the damn book when I went to the 2003 IKC's...and missed out on at least five signatures...

I have one, signed by GM Paul Mills.
Don't know if I'll ever get more signatures in it, I've got the one that matters most to me, though it'd be an honor to meet just about any that are featured in the book.

When I come to get my STEAK dinner from Billy Lear, I'll maybe have another.
Of course, he doesn't appear in the book.
Maybe he can sign my book of "America's most wanted"....

I have a copy with exactly no signatures in it despite having met 6 of the honorees since I bought it.

Partially because I am forgetful but mostly because I don't collect things like that.

Off the top of my head, I have:

    Dennis Conatser
    Frank Trejo
    Huk Planas
    Sean Kelley
    Bob Liles
I think I got a couple others, like Martin Wheeler, and Gilbert Velez but have to check.
Just because you do something one way, does not mean that everyone else does it that way, or that it is even the correct way.
