I know the form. I actually taught it in an advanced seminar last year.

It's required for promotion to 4th degree black belt in EPAK.

Did you have any specific questions regarding the form?

Same as long eight. Do you have it written out?

No, but I'm sure if you did a quick Google search you could find it pretty quickly.

If memory serves me correctly, Michael Billings might have it written out.

    Now that's any idea!

The only thing is that it would be next to impossible to learn the whole thing unless I had at least a few hours, and the seminar was limited to black belts.

Hmmmm...I'll look into the logistics of this and see if it is feasible.

    Hi Jamie!

You can definitely count me in too for Long Form 7 in Baltimore - maybe they can make it an extended seminar (two or three sessions - one topic!) I would really love to work on this.

    Peace!

By chance are you referring to something besides the "Stick Set?" That's the only Form 7 I know of.

I think they are one in the same, do not quote me on that though.

Long Form 7 is done with two clubs, and consists of 14 techniques:

    Five Storms
    Reversing Storm
    Repeating Storm
    Clashing Storm
    Gathering Storms
    Flashing Storms
    Whirling Storm
    Destructive Storm
    Shielding Storms
    Twisting Storm
    Twirling Storms
    Criss-Crossing Storms
    Thundering Storms
    Leaping Storm

    Hope that helps.

    Great question.

I was able to get a little over 3/4's of it in a 3 hour seminar (no breaks), but the seminar was for all advanced students interested, including those under black belt.

I also had some Kenpoists come from different backgrounds, such as the Fred Villari system. That makes things challenging, of course, because these black belts didn't know the base techniques in EPAK which are utilized with the clubs in Long 7. Unquestionably, that slowed down the pace of learning throughout the three hour session.
