Default LAPD 1948 video "self defense and disarment"

I know Doc has probably seen this already, but I always find these old historical videos of interest.

The video is from the LAPD, and shot in 1948 teaching several self defense moves and things like pat downs etc.

"For he is God's servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God's servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer."

    Romans 13:4

Some of that looks like it came right out of Big Red.

Hadn't seen this one in a whole bunch of years. Nowadays you can only arrest a suspect if he consents, and has the time to go to jail. If he resists you have to wait for the SWAT Team to bring the pillows to hit him with for the pillow fight takedown to custody. Otherwise, the press thinks you're being too "harsh."

As I recall, Gene LeBell helped with that video and they did a series. Some of the moves are still good today and better than some of the crap they make some do.

Pillows take up a lot of space. No wonder they needed an MRAP!
Be careful what you say, some may take it the wrong way.
