It''s "Circle of the Tiger", a form created by Nick Cerio based on 1-3 kata of what became Shaolin Kempo. The similarity is stronger in NCK's 'Circle of the leopard' which has more direct roots to what the SKK folks know as '2 kata'. It's done by Nick Cerio's Kenpo schools, of course, but USSD and MSDC shaolin kempo students should recognize it.

Nick Cerio made a lot of videos later in life, after he got a little fluffier, moved a little slower. I still learned a lot form teh kenpo hands tapes but his execution was not so awesome to look at.

    BUT

look at this video!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3jiA...eature=related here is Nick Cerio in his prime!

at about 3 minutes he does a form which is identical to the 'pinan 1' taught at the Steiner Academy. When Geary put together his take on SKK, seeing as he had joined up with NCK organization byt that time, he took some of NCK material and swapped them out for the USSD/Villari techs and forms. Also later he does exactly the St. Acad pinan 2 (but it is nto the next form he does)

Thanks! Thought it was one of the tiger forms, but wasn't sure which one it was.

I liked that form a lot

I had earned a brown in Nick Cerio's while he was still with us. I liked his system allot because it was not too flashy and right too the point.
