The "Shaolin Kempo" practiced in Europe is not related to the "Shaolin Kempo" created by Fred Villari. I believe the Europena variety is actually derived from the Shorinji Kempo of Japan.

    Doesn't resemble Shorinji either.

I know, the ony reason I wrote that was a few years ago I corresponded with a teacher from Germany who talked about Doshin So as one of their progenitors. I don;t have anything else to go on as far as their origins.

To throw even more into the mix, my old instructor teaches a Shao-Lin Kempo-Karate that has nothing to do with Mr. Villari, Doshin So, or Mr. Castro

The commercialization of the martial arts around the world has created more and more people who think they are qualified and knowledgeable enough to create their own style or system. Thus we have a plethora of styles, sub-styles, so-called systems, and methods of dubious lineage and questionable efficacy, of sufficient quantity few even recognize the many names anymore. When I was growing up, I was familiar with just about every major style there was on the planet. Now I can't even count the ones out of my own lineage downline.

Is that the Shao-Lin of Sin The in Lexington, KY? I had experience with one of their instructors while in college, but the Kempo-Karate tag wasn't part of the name. The hyphenated Shao-Lin is something that i've only seen that group use...

Nope, this is taught in North Carolina, by John Stover. Descended from what was called in Japan Shorinji Tetsukenryu .
Chinese techniques with a Shito influence, among other things.
