Rich Hale's web page lists two schools that are in the area (depending on how big 'area' is).

Damon Excell ... but he teach AKKI ... which is not the 24 belt system.
Keith Mathews ... in Canton, GA ... The technique list on his web page shows most of the techniques, but not in the 24 per belt format.

    Good luck.

If their listing on Rich Hale's site equals an endorsement, they're definitely worth a look.
Be careful what you say, some may take it the wrong way.

I would not make the statement that listing is an endorsement. I am not certain how Mr. Hale gathered the information. But, it is a starting point.

Let me edit my original question a bit..... Are there any AK instructors near the Loganville, Ga area? I'm not hung up on the 24 tech format, just that's what I'm learning now. But being a long distance from my instructor isn't providing me the regular interaction with a partner to insure the application portion is correct. I don't care if its an instructor with a brick and mortar school or a private instructor teaching out of his yard or basement.

    Again, any help is appreciated.

AKKI is Paul Mill's group. Damon Excell has never been a part of that group. Mr. Excell has studied American Kenpo under Yoshio Furuya and Eddie Booze along with IKCA Kenpo under Chuck Sullivan and Vic LeRoux. Don't make statements unless you have researched them first.

"I know Kenpo!" "Cool... do you know how to use it?"

I have never trained with the person I am about to tell you to check out but if he meets your needs why not. He should be a little over 30 minutes from you I think his number is 678 713-4785 I think his address is 3052 Tolbert Drive Decatur, GA, the school is Atlanta Tactical Martial Arts... again I don't know anything about the guy or his approach to Kenpo which I think is American Kenpo mixed with some knife fighting system, You can probably find a couple of clips of the guy on youtube. Good Luck.
