Default American Kenpo Karate System (AKKS)

This is Mr. Speakmans organization. He trains Kenpo 5.0

Kenpo 5.0 is a revolutionary product of Mr. Ed Parker's Kenpo Karate developed by Mr. Jeff Speakman. The scientific principles and sound motion Kenpo offers are not compromised and are prevelant throughout Kenpo 5.0. Mr. Speakman has added elements of ground fighting to adhere to the fighter of the 21st century.

    Greetings KenpoNobby,

Given that I am a 5.0 practitioner, I'd be interested in know what you can add to the above description based on your experiences.
Are you a member of the AKKS?
    Where do you train?
    Who is your instructor?
What rank do you currently hold?
How do you like the material that you're learning?
What do you think about the AKKS organization?
...and anything else that would give a more personal touch to your desire to expose the rest of the world to Kenpo 5.0.

Thanks for posting and I really look forward to your responses.

    Hello toejoe2k

Are you a member of the AKKS? Yes, I was a member in 2005-2007
Where do you train? In Germany
Who is your instructor? Carmelo Bulone
    http://www.kenpo-balve.de/
What rank do you currently hold? Blue Belt
How do you like the material that you're learning? Very great
What do you think about the AKKS organization? Mr. Speakmans oranization is one of the best.
...and anything else that would give a more personal touch to your desire to expose the rest of the world to Kenpo 5.0.
Kenpo should evolve and move with the times so how Mr. Parker wanted. Kenpo 5.0 is such a program.

    Are you training elsewhere?
Who did you train with in the AKKS?
Would you mind sharing the reason you are no longer there? Did you move, did they move, was it not the kind of training you wanted...etc.

This will help people make a more educated decision about where to train in your area.

Any other info. would be most appreciated.

My lineage is John Sepulveda who is my instructors instructor.
At the time I was in AKKS he was the National director of the AKKS.
He formed his own organization the AKTS.
Our systems were very similiar before 5.0 was updated.
Like the AKKS THE AKTS has schools all over the world, I live in the San Francisco bay area about 40 min north of the city, we have schools in Sant Clara, Elk Grove Sacramento area, Modesto, in my area, plus some schools affiliated with Sigung Labonte who train with us.
