    International Karate Connection Association (I.K.C.A.)

The KARATE CONNECTION was founded in 1980 in Hawthorne, California, as a school. Since its inception, it has evolved into an Interactive, Multi-media Program, International in scope. The system taught is KENPO. Our students range in rank from beginners to Black belts. The International Karate Connection Association was chartered in 1990. The I.K.C.A. has, as its foundation, a set of bylaws detailing the rules under which an Independent School, Club or Youth Outreach Program may be operated, while being affiliated with an International Organization, for the purpose of promoting, being promoted and record keeping. You'll find in reading the I.K.C.A bylaws that you may use the Karate Connection Kenpo in any manner you wish. You may use it as a complete system, as we do, or you may integrate any portion of it with your own material, to whatever degree fits your teaching philosophy. Becoming an I.K.C.A Certified Instructor is another matter, fully detailed in the bylaws.
