Defense Against Headlock Attempt From 9:00
1) Utilize the force of your opponent pulling your head down towards their side. Turn into the attacker stepping up with your right foot assuming a modified lunge (close kneel) stance so that your left knee checks the opponent's right leg. Simultaneously execute a left hammer fist to the attackers right kidney area with a right upward strike to their groin with the right hand*.
*Using the IKCA configuration of a "fist" the thumb is positioned on top of the fingers forming a "point" at the joint where the thumb bends. This "point" is utilized as a penetrating weapon to the attackers groin
2) Track up the opponents back placing your left hand on the back of their head creating a "back-stop." Simultaneously trasition into a right lunge stance executing a right straight punch to the attackers face
(I prefer the nose, especially since we've created a back-stop and thier head has nowhere to go and absorbs all the force of the strike)
3) Execute a sweep as you cover out: Contour the attackers head with your left hand and execute a left sword hand to opponents neck as you sweep through the attackers right leg with your left as you cross-over.
"It is sobering to reflect that one of the best ways to get yourself a reputation as a dangerous citizen these days is to go about repeating the very phrases which our founding fathers used in the struggle for independence." – Charles A. Beard
What belt level/tape is that on? When I get better, and the next time I feel the need to wrench my neck again, I'd like to play with tis one.

There are things that are worth knowing for their own sake, worth finding for the pure joy of discovery.
Your dead on. The punch will be up and back at a 45 degree angle, starting him on that vector. Also, I prefer to roll the left hand into a horizontal claw to across the face, pulling his head sharply to the right as I sweep.

I actually prefer to do this one with an initial Horse Stance rather than the forward lunge, it gives you better control of forward momentum. I then thrust my head up above my spine to regain and control my balance as I execute the "Backstop" heelpalm to the back of the head and punch to the face.
