    Lightbulb Books Online

I've started an on-line bookstore, courtesy of the Amazon Associates program.

    http://www.kungfubooksonline.com

I'm featuring books DVDs and other stuff about martial arts of all kinds, organized by country or region. I also plan to offer imported grocery items and specialty foods because I like that stuff. Can you really seperate Kenpo and Chinese Food anyway???

If you go to my store and then navigate to amazon and make any purchase, I still get a sliver of credit for that... so please stop by, check it out. If you are looking for a specific title, or if you know of a book which everyone should read and I've overlooked, then please shoot me a message and I will add it

I will eventually have about a dozen categories, adding more every day. Right now I have Chinese, Japanese, Other Asian, Filipino, and American sections. Adding soon: MMA, Korean, Western Traditional, Training&Fitness, Cuisine, Video and Fiction.

    I'd love any feedback,

    thanks
    David

    Looks good.

I would add a menu tree for sub-categories. Especially as you add more books. Also a search box.

    Japanese Book recommendations:
    The Way and the Power
    Kodo: Ancient Ways
    More Shugyo!

Thanks, a search box is coming soon! Right now I am using a free "site generator" provided by GoDaddy, but I am working on a home-grown site that will have searhing and sub-menus you're reading my mind LOL

That is a pretty good selection for a start. Best of luck in your new endeavour.

Is there a way for people to see their wish list on your site?

I saw 2 of my books there, but could not scroll down (using Firefox 2.0.0.4).

Very cool idea. Best of luck to you as well.

It should be accessing your personal wish lists. I know it does display related Listmania lists from any user, not just yourself. I'll have to check on that.

I've been making a lot of CSS style changes over the last week, you may have hit it during some of that, scroling was on and off depending on how I was monkeying with the CSS at the time. Amazon does not have a test environment LOL so every time I made a change it is reflected on the live site

I recently added an MMA section and an Imported Grocery section. Still working on the Search function... also a new look and color scheme, much nicer IMHO.

I got my first sales this weekend!!! Thank you so much to whoever you are, and I hope you enjoy "The Law of the Fist and Empty Hand".

I have added a search feature now, and started adding books on Korean Arts.

And, if anyone reading this post has any suggestions on boosk that they found important and useful in their own training, le tme know so that I can continue to improve the catalog.

You might want to include the martial arts books written by my friend Keith Pascal. You can search Amazon to find his stuff.

Keith's instructor is Steve Golden, who earned a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Kenpo studying under Ed Parker and who was also a student of Bruce Lee. I mean, he really did train with Bruce Lee. He didn't just read the Tao of Jeet Kune Do.

Jay, I will do that You can use the search feature, but its scope is limited within Amazon's total collection.

    thanks for the suggestion!
