    ====================

    Greetings,

    I had posted this on the kenponet, and it hadn't sparked much in the way of a technical discussion, so I thought I'd try here.

    The effectiveness of the actual responses you see here are obvious and don't really need to be the subject of debate. However, the attacks bring up a few things we as kenpoists should consider.

    Leaving it at that. Your thoughts?

    Thank GOD I wear New Balance. We definitely have not as of yet practiced under conditions like that.

    Looked like lots of fun.

    I can remeber doing some similar drills a number of years ago. We didn't film it unfortunately but, we used a rubber training knife and chalked the edges. Chalk acros the body lets you know that you made a real mistake.

    I couldn't help but notice that in the multiple assailant drill that when the defender manuevered he put his back into the wall and thus lost his ability to continue moving because he was immediately flanked. Any thoughts on this?
