Especially if it's your first episode.
Be careful what you say, some may take it the wrong way.

Hey does anyone know why they switched the uniform colors for the later series? In the original Star Trek, command officers (like Kirk) wore yellow, and engineering and security people (like Scotty and "Ensign Ricky") wore red. But then in The Next Generation and later series, that was switched. Science officers always stayed in blue. I was just wondering if anyone had an answer for that.

Daffy, fighting with his $1.25 quarter staff : "Ho! Haha! Guard! Turn! Parry! Dodge! Spin! Ha! Thrust!" (quarter staff bounces off log, bending his beak. He straightens it back to normal, and starts speaking to himself) "Something's amiss here... hmm, let me run through it. Ho, haha, guard, turn, parry, dodge, spin, ha, thrust." (beak bends again) "Got it." (straightens beak, and starts his fighting moves again.) "Ho! Haha! Guard! Turn! Parry! Dodge! Spin!"
I saw an episode of Stargate SG1 and two nerdy characters were talking about their predicament and they said, "We might as well be wearing red shirts!"
Cracked me up.
I was baffled though why only the nerdy characters were into Star Trek. Trekkie are generally very cool, by nature.
One of the characters who said it had also played Dr. Flox in the Enterprise Series, which made it even funnier.

Red Shirts Rebel!!!
Me and some buddies are planning for DragonCon 08 and have decided to purchase a bunch of "Red Shirts", put "phaser burns" and such on them and picket in front of the Con chanting, "Hell no we won't go!"![]()
