    Default Finishing Things

Dr. Phil has proclaimed: "The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started and have never finished."

So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished, and before leaving the house this morning I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of White Zinfandel, a bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream, a bottle of Kahlua, a package of Oreos, the remainder of my old Prozac prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, some Doritos, and a box of chocolates. You have no idea how freaking good I feel right now!

    Feeling good in the neighborhood!

First audible laugh of the day for me, and much needed!

*Now, where did I leave my old Prozac scrip and the unfinished tequila?*
Clear mind, clear movement. Mastery of the Arts is mastery over the Self. That in this moment, this motion, the thoughts, memories, impulses and passions that cloud the mind must yield to the clarity of purpose, and purity of motion.

I had someone send this to me a little while ago. I told him I don't think that inner peace would be how my work would describe it if I showed after doing that. (BTW, I work in a 911 dispatch center.)
