Well, I'm only 2nd gen American... Grandma & Grandpa Goodwin were both Canadian... one from Nova Scotia... the other from further West (same Province)... so, I used to love talking with them both, eh?
One of my ancestors even sang one of the songs on "Songs of the Miramichi"... a documentary about Canadian folk songs...
BTW, Candian Tire RULES! The exchange rate was pretty good when I was up in Hamilton, ONT in Jan 06... so, I went NUTS at a CT store!![]()
I can also remember having really great donuts somewhere... but the name escapes me at the moment...

I visited Canada quite a bit when I was in the USAF. Beutiful country, lot's of friendly folks, and some good beer.(It's an acquired taste PK.)
