    Question Re: Scaring people

I'll see your "Scaring People" and raise you "Scarey People"....

Ummm...some things must be seen, to be believed...

For once, even I am speechless to describe this.

    LOL to the first post.

The second wasn't very humorous. Unless you find sloppy street fighting funny. At least I feel infinately more secure in my ability after watching it.

CC...again the tagline was..."Scarey People"...these folk should not be allowed to reproduce..........ever. Fortunately, at this rate...if they continue...they should kill themselves off and improve the general gene pool by doing so.

    We should be so lucky!

I've seen tons of this stuff though and it never fails to make me ill. The last seminar I went to had a class on "realism". We watched a lot of footage caught on tape of attacks and so forth. We also did drills where the instructor basically donned a suite of armor and attacked us full out. It was quite an eye-opening class.

lol..indeed very impressive. He's got quite a highlight reel. However, that's an entirely different form of scarey.

I think I can safely say that I will never be able to do that.

I would say 'not in the forseeable future', but I think it's pretty much never.

Looked like Sanshou. Great stuff. I prefer watching Sanshou matches to UFC any day. Cung Lee is a bad Mo-Fo. I saw an excellent scissor kick take down in that montage, then in the next frame he defended against one. Thanks for the post. Great clip.

Oh, and Amy...you're not by yourself! You would never see my big ole decrepid arse jumpin' around like that. I have to rely strictly on blunt force trauma and pure meaness over finesse! LOL.

What? But, but, I thought when you get your Black belt I would magically be able to do all that stuff and more. I thought you turn into a super hero. LMAO

Great display of athleticism and leg takedowns by David Niasse. I wonder how he'd do if someone punched him?

Those skills we keep from even the lower-ranked blackbelts. We reserve these, as well as levitation, shooting fireballs, the Fist of the Northstar, Tornado kicks and the issuance of the Cape and Mask for Senior Masters. So keep studying, Grasshopper. Eventually, all will be made clear to you.

Well dang guess I have to earn the rank of 10th deg to make Jedi Master

Till then I am just a pedowan LMAO

Oh and since you mention Grasshopper, its funny Sunday I was flipping channels and Kung Fu the series was on. The info said the original air date was March 1973- real close to when I was born. But I remember watching probably every episode back in the day I loved that show.

Anyway I started watching the show and it was the episode where the old master told Kane when he could take the stone from his hand it was time for him to leave. At first my girls were laughing at the show and how old it looked. But after a few minutes they were hooked and watched the entire show. It was funny they are all into that show now.

That's hilarious! This past weekend I was watching an episode and my fiance` came in. She initially asked if anything else was on, and I said I was kind of into the episode. So, she sat down and watched it and got totally engrossed in it! ROFL.

It was largely that "New" Kung-Fu series that gave me the bug, once upon a time. *...sheepish smirk...* Yeah..I wanted to be Kwai Chang. I admit it.
