SO, I jumped the gun a little- but there you are!

    Figure it out yet?

When I challenged to members to find a thread and bring it back, I meant a thread that had substance not something like this.

AH-HA! My corner is contested! I let the others in, but you'll have to fight me for my corner of this awesome, superior, long lived thread!

Russ, the answers lie deep within the twisted fibres that makes this thread.
Yes, and no. They lie at the grand nexus, the origin and the end, the nadir of the dragons orbit!

    Take it if you dare...

edit: A'las and a'lack! Even the 'bonz didn't see the subtle threat to his dominion! He's gone- gone without a fight! oh, well, there's always later!

Perhaps I spoke in haste! As Walter Williams intro says, "Black, by popular demand!"

LOL! That was a good one, BCB!

To be fair, I also laughed myself sore when Rob threatened to beat me with a rolled newspaper!

Yes, well, you'd have to be- to challenge Rob AND the EM, all in one thread!

And, now me as well. (CC and the others don't count- they're keeping the EM busy right now)

Perhaps. Yes, I can see you have the upper hand in claiming the thread- though the EM is giving you a run for your money. However, you still have not dislodged me from my corner. Great view of the battlefield here. I'm enjoying watching the fight- can't do better than ringside! And I get to fire an occasional shot myself! Way cool! Totally awesome! This is fun!

What might we learn from this resilient thread ?
Would you expect anything less from a thread of Mine? You might learn that this thread belongs to me! That would be most productive.

*...spying a loose thread...I surrender to curiosity...I lean over and begin tugging on it....winding it round and round my hands...pulling....with greater and greater enthusiasm...ammassing a whole new pile of loose thread....then looking up sheepishly....as I notice Shawn standing there, his Chuck Norris Kickin' Jeans totally unravelled...and scoot the telltale thread over next to Amy...and using my very best ninja skills...tie the end around her big toe....so she'll take the heat on this one....then tossing a smoke bomb....I vanish....*

Take the heat? You mean enjoy the credit! Shawn is now exposed! HA Ha! His evil plan for trying to take a thread that does not belong to him has been thwarted!

And Crippler....poor poor Crippler. His anti-psychotic meds are clearly not working. Let's just humor him for now, lest the shock of the reality of his non-thread-owning situation becomes too much for him to bear.
